September finally saw some real progress, nearly 7,000 words. Ok, that’s by no means any sort of record or thing to write home about, but it is more than I’ve written in any month since March – and more than the total since March by a considerable margin.

I’m about 110,000 words away from the end of draft one of Deceit so, hopefully, a few months from now I’ll have four volumes of Descent (in one form or another) in the can.
